"Writing is therapeutic. Instead of keeping things to myself, I
write and let people who read this, if any, know what's going on with my life. I guess I have a lot
of things in my head that I just have to jot down. It's nice to know
that in the future days, I will look back on things I wrote, feeling
much more different than what I'm feeling as I write a particular entry."
This is my life... in writing. 12/20/06
Why have I abandoned my Xanga for almost a year now? Is it because I have no time? No things to write about? No inspiration? Or is it just plain laziness? The world may never know. But anyway, NIXZONE1986 is back! And to the 3-5 loyal readers I've had before, I'm sorry for not being able to update and for not reading your entries. From now on, everything will be just like it was before lol.
To end this short entry, I would like to thank an intelligent man who told me that "writing is a craft, and to use words are powerful! You can speak and think and reflect... it can be however, whatever you want it to be like" .
Unfortunately, I really don't have any more time to update this thing. I've been extremely busy with school and work. My typical day consists of going to school, napping for an hour and work... then study. Four hours of sleep each night is really not enough. I'm stressed out most of the time lol. I'm doing pretty well with school though which is pretty rare; but as I said before, for the thousands of dollars I'm spending for this program, I better do well. I guess this is my life for the next year . But most importantly, the main reason why I wrote this entry, is because of David Archuleta. I'm in love with this kid. I don't even watch American Idol anymore, but I sure will start to watch it again, as long as this kid remains in the show. I LOVE HIM!
2008 so far has been really good to me! Earlier this month, I got promoted at my job. In addition to that, I have two more good news to write about. I got accepted to the LVNursing Program at Casa Loma College and I finally got a CAR!!!
Casa Loma: I'm starting school / orientation this Wednesday and I'm very excited and motivated to succeed: First, because of the amount that I'm paying for it. Second is I have two friends who are taking the program with me... Dez and Gera. I'm also happy to say that the school has a LVN to RN program. After graduating from LVN, I only need six months to gain experience in the field and enroll to the RN program. It's fast, but very costly. We'll see in the future what I'll do. Right now, focusing in school is what matters most.
CAR: Meet my NEW/USED 2002 ACURA RSX! It's nice to finally have a car that is reliable and cute. It's so GUY-ish lol.
Bills, Bills, Bills: I have to pay bills!
Car Payments: $300
Car Insurance: $150
School Loan: $150
Cellphone: $60
Gym Membership I don't even use: $50
Working and Studying to pay bills: PRICELESS.
Anyway, that's two things off my check list. Can I finally find success when it comes to my love life next time? Speaking of love, I didn't do anything special on Valentine's Day due to a very obvious reason. All I did was eat at TGIF and go Karaoe-ing with my friends on the 15th. May not be a romance there, but being with my closest friends are just as good. Who knew singing "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse could be oh so funny!!!
I'm very happy that I'm getting alot accomplished and my life is finally becoming productive and is heading to the right direction. I can't help but worry tho. We all know, "all good things must come to an end". I'm scared that one of these days, my life will suffer a downfall after all the good things that is happening now. I just have to be prepared for it. That's all I can say, and hope that God will be with me each and every day...

Gone Again.
Last night, my parents kicked my sister out of the house again. Usually I would be ok with it since she would be around the area, crashing either at her friends house or my cousin's... but it's different this time. She went to Vegas with Derek to live with her ex or something. I'm sad coz I like having my sister and my nephew/godson here at home.
My sister and I was watching home videos of Derek the night before, and it's amazing how fast he grew up. I don't wanna miss his progression. I'm hoping, they will come home soon...

It's been raining lately. All I gotta say is, it's about time we experience a different kind of weather. Anyway a little update: I had my first fight at work with my fellow co- workers and a customer. The good thing is, my co- workers and I are all ok now. Let's just say misunderstandings about how to manage the store and employees can lead to a whole bunch of silent treatments and awkwardness... but we're good now. No point of giving every single details of this unnecessary fight. Customer-wise, I had an argument with a free- loading black guy. When I confronted him, he became verbally aggressive with me, and now I'm fearing my life lol. Hopefully, I don't get shot one of these days because of what happened. It's hard being a supervisor, a promotion has its down side.
I still have to do my year- end review so stay tuned for that lol. Other than that, I'm gonna enjoy this rare torrential down pour from heaven lol.
